Spring Social Programme

And the first activity in our Spring Social Programme is a visit to Shakespeare’s birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon, on Saturday 25 April 2015. A coach will leave South Kensington at 8.30 am returning around 5pm. The cost is £16 for adults with children going free and includes a guided tour of the historic sites around the town.

Stratford-upon Avon is a lovely small English town with lots of interesting shops and cafes. It takes between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours to get there. And for the best coffee Zebra recommends the Box Brownie, 20 Henley Street.

ANSON & CARLETON DEVELOPMENT

ANSON ROAD DEVELOPMENT

We’re nearing completion with the last flat hopefully occupied by Easter. The new pay-laundry for both the Anson and Carleton flats will also be operational from just before Easter. There will still be some things to complete - the external repointing and re-painting, the redecoration and re-carpeting of the common hall and the landscaping. We think it looks very nice and is a considerable improvement on the old building.

CARLETON ROAD DEVELOPMENT

The work has now begun. We will be refurbishing the two ground floor flats in the main building (one of which has been used as a laundry but which will close as we open the new laundry over the road at Anson), demolishing the derelict old building at the rear, and constructing two new single storey 2 bed flats.
