Would you pay an additional ££15 per month in your rent for 20Mbit fibre optic broadband if we were to provide it?
Let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
We have surveyed our buildings, and we are now working on a programme to install the service, if there is sufficient interest.
With the exception of some changes to the roof all we’ve really got left to complete is the refurbishment, re-decoration and re-carpeting of the common hall. Completely normal life should return by the end of May.
The new building is looking spectacular, and the garden is maturing very quickly.
We continue to work on phase 2; the building of two 2 bedroom flats and the reconfiguration of the ground floor of the main building at Carleton Road. We are currently on schedule to complete in September 2015.
We would like to thank all residents who took the time to complete this year’s Residents’ Survey. 52 residents responded – double the number in our last survey.
We are in the process of analysing all the submissions, and will report to our Board and residents in due course. Highlights from the survey are presented in our Annual Report in September, a copy of which will be sent to all residents.
We will be letting you know how we intend to take forward a number of suggestions you have made.
Annual barbecue and garden party
Put the date in your calendars now – 26th June at 7.30 – you’ll receive your invitation later this week. There’s a children’s entertainer, music and lots of food.
We are now taking bookings for the following social programme events:
‘Les Miserables’ at the Queen’s Theatre on Wednesday 8th July at 7.30pm. – Tickets: £17
One of London’s most successful musicals ever. If you haven’t seen it, do! We have secured a limited number of good stalls seats, usually available for £45. We will be selling these on to residents for £17 each.
Hampton Court Palace Daytrip – Saturday 12th September. £16 Adults, Children Free!
Located west of London, on the banks of the Thames, Hampton Court is one of the finest examples of a Tudor palace in Europe. It was a favourite of both Henry VIII and Cardinal Wolsey. The grounds are spectacular, and the rooms of the Palace allow a glimpse into the life of Tudor royalty. Coach will depart from Jerome House at 9am, and you will be accompanied by a Blue Badge Guide.
If you wish to participate in either of these events, email email@example.com, stating your name, address and number of tickets required (remember, children go free to Hampton Court).
