MAjor works

The new bike store at Jerome is now in use and we have improved security by upgrading all flat door locks and installing CCTV.

 We will be installing CCTV at Anson and Carleton following a spate of bicycle thefts.

We should complete the refurbishment of the common hallways at Sentosa by late February 2016.

Our plans

Our Board is setting our budgets on 23 February so if you’ve got ideas for projects on which we should spend it let us know now. We have two big projects we’re planning next year – these are putting a new roof on Jeannine and improving the heating at Jerome. But there’s still room for some other projects. Social Programme

We’ve sold all the tickets to Shakespeare’s As you Like It on Tuesday 1st March 7.30pm at the National Theatre.


But we’ve still got some left for Goodnight Mr Tom on Wednesday 17th February 7.30pm at Duke of York Theatre. The tickets are in the stalls and have a value of £19.50 but we are selling them to you for just £12.

Wireless broadband

The roll out is moving ahead well with cabling finished at Jerome, Sentosa and Impala (by 10 February). Cabling at Jeannine should start around 15th February. We’ll let you know when you will actually be able to access it and hopefully it will be available to most residents from March 2016.


It’s going to take slightly longer to get the service running at Jerome because we have to put a fibre-optic cable in to give greater broadband capacity to support all the new users. This has now been scheduled for early March and so we believe the new service should be available from April.


Existing tenants will have to make an additional payment to us of £18 per month for the service and new tenants will automatically pay this in with their rent and have immediate access to the service.
