Having already approved our annual rent increase the Board met last Monday, 12 March, to approve our budget and plans for the financial year as well as to review Zebra’s performance over the last few months.

As we’ve already said our major project for the year is the external repair and re-decoration of the render work to the front of Jerome House which is beginning to look a bit jaded. Currently our plan is to do this over the summer. We’ll be carrying out improvements to the garden at Sentosa House. We will also continue with our programme of upgrading kitchens and bathrooms.

We’ll also continue to improve all aspects of Health and Safety including upgrading fire detection equipment and fire doors.

We’ll be looking at our policies on data protection (there’s a new directive known as the GDPR) and lettings (how and to whom we let our accommodation). We’re looking at our internal processes and IT so we can improve our services to you. And we want to continue to bear down on our costs whilst achieving efficiency savings.
