Free and Cheap Events

May 31, 2015

Christie’s in South Kensington is admittedly more auction house than a museum, but it stays open late the first Tuesday of every month for the public to drop in for a drink and hear art experts talking about a specific topic or theme (past ones have included interior design and natural history). These late night events also offer an insight into the workings of the auction room.

Location: Christie’s South Kensington, 85 Old Brompton Road, SW7 3LD
Price: Free, no booking required

Next event: 20th Century Design, 2 June, 6pm-8.30pm. Free, no booking required. Also 7 July, 4 August, 1 September, and continuing monthly until December
