CCTV monitoring and recording of entrance and basement areas of Jerome House is now fully operational. We are rolling this out to a number of our schemes where it is viable, and we are currently in the process of fitting out the system at Anson/Carleton. After this we will be looking at installation at Jeannine House.
Circuit have now completed the upgrade of the Jerome Laundry, and it’s in use. This is the first laundry to be refitted and all others will follow.
The new system is cashless and you and when the fibre optic facility is operational, you will be able to use a smartphone app to pay, control and follow the progress of your wash.
We’ll keep you up to date with progress as the refits role out across our residences in the coming weeks.
The wireless broadband installation has now been completed although we are still awaiting the new fibre optic cable at Jerome. Installation of the external cabling is imminent. We now expect to start installing the hubs in flats, which are required to access the system for subscribers, from the week beginning 4 April.
Because this is a new service, existing tenants will have to pay an extra £18 per month for it, except at Anson and Carleton, where a charge is already added to the rent. You will not need to pay for a telephone line to receive the new fibre optic service, making the package is very competitively priced.
During the week of April 4th, we will be contacting all residents to ask if they wish to sign up for the new service.
The office will be closed from Thursday 24 March at 5.30pm to Tuesday 29 March at 9.30am.
If you have an emergency over the long weekend please contact your warden.
