Flats A&B have been completed and occupied and J&K are completing in the next few days. The new landscaping is gradually taking shape and includes the construction of new bicycle storage, refuse facilities and new side gate. All in all everything should be finished by mid-November.
We had our Annual General Meeting last week and a new (largely unchanged from last year) Board was appointed together with the posts of Chair, Treasurer and Vice-Chair. The Board members are Alison Ahearn (Chair), Richard Kennedy (Vice-Chair), Bola Adesoga (Treasurer), Naraindra Maharaj, Paul Van Driessche, Gordon Stevens, Emily Orme and Henrik Lonberg.
Flats A&B should complete this week (2 October) with the two new build flats, J&K, completing by the middle of October. Landscaping will follow, together with the construction of new bicycle storage and refuse facilities. All in all everything should be finished by mid-November.
The installation of wireless broadband at Jerome House with new fibre optic cabling is progressing well. It’s likely to be another 2-3 weeks before the service will be available to all Jerome residents at a cost of £18.00 including tax per month. You will not need a landline so that’s the total cost. We are using the same supplier as we use at Anson/Carleton where it works pretty well. Over the next few months we’ll be extending this service to all our residences and we hope to start installation at Jeannine later this month.
