Our contractors, Circuit, have now completed the installation of new cashless machines at Jeannine House and Sentosa House. There is some redecorating work to be carried out in the facilities. This should be completed within the next two weeks.
All residents should now have a card for the new machines. If you have any issues with the new system, there is a helpline number on the back of your card.
We have had to resolve a number of plumbing issues at all of our schemes over the last few months that have been caused by residents disposing of inappropriate items down their toilets.
Please remember that the only thing that should be flushed away is toilet papers.
Wipes, wool makeup pads, sanitary towels, kitchen roll and food/cooking fat should never be disposed of in the toilet. ‘Biodegradable’ wipes do not break down quickly and are often the main cause of blocked pipes.
You will block up the pipes and be at risk of flood in your apartment if you do not follow this advice.
Please ensure that your visitors also know this.
Thank you for your co-operation.
We are in the process of completing the refitting of laundries with cashless machines in all our buildings. At Sentosa, N1 we’ve also refitted the laundry room, installed an additional WC and will be fitting new floor coverings.
We have just completed roof repairs at Sentosa, repointed the brickwork to the front of the building at 125, and will shortly carry out some additional guttering, plaster work and window weatherproofing. We also fitted new emergency lighting at Jeannine.
