VISIT TO THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT

We have a group booking for the morning Saturday 30th April, with our guide, Themis.  This is limited to 20 participants. We may add an extra date of there is sufficient demand.

The length of the tour will be approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. At the end of the you can have lunch, coffee, tea etc at the cafe in Parliament, at your own expense.

We will see the Robing room, where the Queen prepares herself prior to State Opening of Parliament ceremony, the Royal Gallery where the Lords gather, the Lords Chamber where the meetings of the House of Lords take place, the central lobby where most of the reporting for Parliament happens, the Members' Lobby where all the MPs have they message boards, the Aye/ No (depending on the day) Lobby where the MPs gather to vote, the Commons Chamber, St Stephens' Hall and Westminster Hall. The tour is about the workings of Parliament, the transition of power from monarchy to the Commons but also about the fantastic art that can be seen in the building. The House of Lords in particular and the Robing Room are spectacular. In short, we will see the most important rooms of the building.

Ticket Prices are:

Adults- £15

Children (5-15)- £5

Under Fives – Free, though we wouldn’t recommend it for this age group, and you still need to book a ticket for them.

If you would like to book tickets, please email  housing@zebrahousing.com  stating your name, address and number of tickets/age group.

We will be adding one or two theatre trips for May. Check the blog for updates.
