We are pleased to announce that Zebra has a new Board member. He is Roland Shanks. Roland is employed by the University of London as their Information and Projects Manager in its Housing and Accommodation Services Department. Roland has many years of experience in the university housing sector and will bring greater resident/student focus to us.

Wireless Broadband

Wireless broadband should be available to all our residents in all our buildings by April 2016. Because this is a new service, existing tenants will have to pay an extra £18 per month for it except at Anson and Carleton where a charge is already added to their rent. Whilst £18 per month may seem a higher charge than some providers are making you won’t need a telephone line to receive it so in fact the package is very competitively priced.

Please let us know if you are interested in signing up for the new Broadband service by contacting housing@zebrahousing.com

Super Speedy Porridge

Its cold - very cold. Porridge, warming soothing & cheap. There is even a porridge cafe!

– 2/3 of a cup of oats (100g)

– 2/3 of a cup of boiling water (200ml)

-1/3 of a cup of almond milk (100ml)

– Banana

– Berries

– Almond butter

– Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and cacao nibs

Start by placing the oats in a saucepan with the boiling water, stir it together and then let it sit with the lid of the pan on for 10 minutes.

Once the oats have soaked and are soft, place the pan on a hob and heat it up with the almond milk for 3-4, stirring it every minute or so.

Then serve with your favourite toppings.
